As we see now, the demand of IT sector increase day by day. We cannot deny that the job opportunity in IT sector more than food technology. Many MNC companies offers good placement packages in Amazon, Facebook, google, TCS, WIPRO and my more software or IT companies about 6 - 30 lakhs per annum. India is also called as IT hub of Aisa.

do we require to attempt neet examination for pursuing food technology courses

Hello student,

B.Tech in Food Technology is a four year undergraduate course which a student can pursue if he has completed his class XII from a recognized board in science stream. If you want to take admission in any IITs or NIITs you should appear in JEE-Mains and JEE-Advanced cause they shortlist candidates on the basis of their JEE scores. Whereas some national and state level colleges have their entrance test which you need to clear to seek admission in the respective college.

So , NEET is not required if you want to pursue B.Tech in food technology.

Is maths compulsory for BTech Food Technology in Anna University?

No, Maths is not a compulsory subject to pursue BTech Food Technology course .

Food technology is a field of science that deals with the techniques involved in the production of food, both organic and inorganic.

Furthermore, the eligibility criteria for B.tech Curse in Food and Technology is as follows :

  1. The candidate must complete his or her 10+2 with Physics , Chemistry , and Maths or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects from a well-recognized Indian board.

  2. In their 10+2 test, candidates must attain the requisite marks or 55 percentile.

  3. Each college/university has its own cutoff percentile, the applicant must score at least 50 per cent on their 10+2 examination in order to get admission at their preferred colleges.

  4. Candidates also need to appear for the entrance examination.

Is B.Tech Food Technology from Agriculture University eligible for IBPS RRB Agriculture officer (scale 2) Bank Exam???.

Hello,

The eligibility criteria to be eligible for IBPS RRB recruitment for Officer  Scale-II Agricultural Officer is that you must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university or board. An experience of minimum two year in the relevant field is required. You are not eligible to apply for this post as you have passed B.Tech Food Technology and this course is not listed in the list of eligible degree for the Officer Scale-II Agricultural Officer in IBPS RRB Recruitment.
