Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has released the placement statistics for the academic year 2021-22 . As per the report, over 300 companies visited the campus and more than 5,000 job offers were made. The average CTC is Rs 6.05 lakh, which is 30 per cent higher than the previous year. More than 3,000 students are already placed and over 1,200 students bagged multiple job offers.
In Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) , the no. of eligible students were 437 and 278 students get offered in 2020-21 . With placement percentage of 63.61% and the highest CTC was INR 43.5 LPA and average was INR 6.46 LPA.
Every year, recruiters like ITC, Dabur, IBM, HSBC, Berger Paints, Bharat Petroleum, Finserv, British Paints etc participate in the HBTU Placements.
HBTU is a government residential university whereas kiit is a private deemed university.
