Yes ! you can do! The eligibility criteria for few institutions require BSc in forensic science however most of them accept BSc in basic sciences subjects.

Forensic science is a two years postgraduate course that mainly consists of 4 semesters. Forensic is a way to find what the scene was before, during, and after the crime. For choosing students, focus on one forensic area, such as cyber Security or Biology, relevant to the type of criminals to detect.

Masters of Forensic Science in the stream of science is a PG-level specialized course. The All India Forensic Science Entrance Test (AIFSET-2022) is a national level entrance test  to get admission into top college also writing NEET is not required to get admission in forensic sciences. Colleges and Universities conduct their own entrance exam for admission in a forensic science course.

Hello Aspirant,

yes, you can drop a course in between if you get some other opportunity. However, policy with respect to dropping college in between differs for each college. Generally, In case you leave a college in between the year then there will be no refund of fees deposited. But not all colleges charges a penalty for leaving the college.

No NEET is not compulsory for forensic science course. The colleges conduct their own entrance exam for forensic science or the admissions are done on the basis of 10+2 level score. The forensic science course is a combination of law and science together. Forensic science can be learnt from the undergraduate level. The undergraduate programme is for three years, after which the student is provided with a B.Sc. degree. The candidate must have completed their education at 10+2 level from a recognised board and A minimum of 50% at both 10th and 12th level to be eligible for the course.
