can i get admission in MSU PHD pharmaceuticals chemistry after MSc forensic science???????????

theeanonymous 20th Oct, 2020

Hello Varsha,

As per the eligibility criteria for PhD course provided in their website you should have  M. Pharm. degree with minimum 50% marks and should qualify GATE/GPAT qualification or PET (M.S. University of Baroda). To take up PhD in pharmaceutical area you should have a very good foundation in that area. However, since it is a PhD programme , it is up to the faculty or more importantly the guides/supervisors to decide whether they can admit a student from related fields . So I suggest you to directly reach out to them and see if you can be accepted.

All the best

is forensic science available in your college and I need complete details of forensic course

Syed Yasir 17th Oct, 2020

Hello.

As you have not mentioned the name of the college it is a bit difficult for us to provide the details regarding the same.

The details of the forensic science course are as follows:

The course is known by the name of B.Sc. Forensic Science. It is a three year undergraduate program wherein you deal with the study of scientific applications and knowledge that will be helpful in tackling crimes. This undergraduate program offers a vast range of subjects and how to carefully examine and inspect different objects and parts at a crime scene. When it comes to a crime scene the analysis could be anything such as blood stains, fingerprints, footprints, retrieving data from electronic devices like phones, laptops, computer, etc. If you are opting for this course then you must have keen interest in it and possess academic skills.

Moving on to the eligibility criteria, it same as that for many other undergraduate programs i.e. you must have passed your class 12th examinations in science stream from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

This course offers two types of entries :

  1. Lateral Entry: This option is open for the students who have pursued 3 year polytechnic diploma after class 12th.
  2. Entrance Examination: CG PAT, IISER IAT, GSAT, NEST , BHU UET, OUAT.

Lastly, the course fees depends  upon the institution but it ranges roughly between 20,000 to 50,000 Indian rupees.

I hope my answer has cleared your doubts. Looking forward to help you more.
