Is Bsc Msc Forensic Science a good course to study in NFSU? If so, what are the opportunities after completing that course?

Dear student,

National Forensic Science University is a university of national importance and has been ranked grade 'A' by NAAC. The institute offers a 5 year Integrated Bsc-Msc forensic science program that consists of different courses like criminal law, crime and society, forensic psychology etc.

The eligibility criteria of this course is for the student to score 60% in 10+2. The fee of this course is 45k per semester. Admission in this course is done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the university.

After the completion of this course you can become a forensic scientist,do research work in laboratories and can work as scientists that solves difficult crimes. Thus you can work in investigative agencies of various governments. You can also become forensic engineers,crime scene investigators and can even work under Central Bureau of Investigation or Information Bureau.

Companies like Infosys,Amazon and TCS etc come during placement rounds in NFSU. Highest package offered has been 43 lakhs. Overall,it is a great university to study forensic science in.

Forensic science is a developing stream in India but the scope of this subject is vast. .Salary packages begin from 3-4 lakhs per annum and increasingly can reach upto 6-7 lakhs.

You have to qualify for the entrance exam of a college or university to get admission for the course. Some institutes prepare merit lists on the basis of the marks obtained in their qualifying examination or degree.Based on that mark you will get admission.Also there are national level entrance exams for the admission.

Yes U can study or apply for M.Sc Forensic Science.
In order for you to be eligible for M.Sc Forensic Science, the eligibility criteria for M.Sc Forensic Sciences One should have a Bachelor's degree in Science/pharmacy/medicine etc. or an equivalent degree from a recognized university. Also, the candidate should have secured 55-60 % in the Bachelor's degree.

So, if you have a Bachelor's degree in Science like B.Sc Physics as in your case, then you would admission in to Masters In Forensic Science from a recognized university.

bsc in forensic science is an undergraduate degree program for the students who want to pursue a career in forensic science studies.

The duration of the B.Sc Forensic Science is three years.

some colleges in Maharashtra requires your mht-cet score for bsc forensic science admission, but admission at some other location may not require mht-cet, most of the colleges grant admission on the merit basis.
