Hello Pooja,

I would like to tell you that there is no entrance examination conducted by GIFS for the course of forensic science.

The admission is solely based upon the merit list which is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in 10+2 examination or any other equivalent examination.

Hello Aspirant

There is no entrance exam required for Forensic science Bsc rather there are no exam for this.

All you need is your eligibility criteria that is your 10 +2 marks,This is the only marks that you require during the admission

As different colleges have different criteria the merit of each college may defer accordingly

So kindly check the criteria before applying.

As per your question I'm listing down some of the jobs that you can do after you complete Bsc Forensic science and they are as follows

  1. Forensic Scientist
  2. Analytical Chemist
  3. Biomedical Scientist
  4. Toxicologist

you can also get some private and government job after you finish your course,you can even apply for Msc in any related field and can pursue your higher studies

Bsc in forensic science is a 3 year course and the continuation Msc course will be of 2 years

For specialization you can apply for any course namely

  1. Forensic Biology
  2. Forensic Nursing
  3. Forensic Pathology
  4. Forensic Toxicology and many more

You can also do various other certification courses that are provided

The Eligibility criteria for MSC forensic science states that the candidate must have completed graduation with atleast 45-50% marks in from a recognised university in science Subjects such as engineering, criminology, Pharmacy, forensics etc., The percentage required varies from College to college.

So, Yes. You are eligible for the course if you satisfy the criteria.

Hello!

The eligibility criteria is that you have to pass 10+2 from a recognized university. Generally there is direct admission to colleges. However, some colleges may assess students’ suitability for the course through an entrance test. NEET is not required to get admission to a forensic science course.
