I will put it this way. Scope of forensic science is kind of shady in india because, there are not much opportunities seen outside. But if you wish to explore, there are lot of opportunities.

You can work in state forensic labs, central forensic labs, in teaching, corporates etc

So it is really good when you want to give your best in India

Since in India, it is still a developing field and there are no many forensic labs, I would give my opinion to go for abroad since the infrastructure and opportunities are wide over there

Each college/institute has its own minimum percentage requirement so it varies from one college to another.But minimum 75% aggregate in class 12 is essential for a candidate to score.Before seeking admission in any college/univeristy please check the eligibility criteria and know whether you are fulfilling it or not.

The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Sc Forensic Science is to pass 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized education board in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech with a minimum aggregate of 55%. So you are not eligible to apply for it right now.

Yes, to get admission into IGIMS Patna into the course of BSc forensic science there is a combined entrance examination which is held by the institute. The eligibility criteria for that examination is

1. The candidate must not be younger than 17 years.

2. Candidate must have attained 45% aggregate in class 12th and 40% aggregate for SC/ST.

These all factors decide your admission into the institution.
