Hello Aspirant.

B.sc in Forensic Science is a 3 years duration Undergraduate course. A lot of colleges offer this course.

Its basic eligibility criteria are.

The person/candidate must have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 55% with Physics, Maths/Biology , Chemistry as his/her subjects.

Some colleges offer direct admission for this course whereas some colleges conduct an entrance exam for getting this course.

Both the fields are very good when compared. It depends on your interest now whether you are interested In biological world or want to go for science world. Biotech Teaches you all about the biological processes, living, dead particles. Where forensic science teaches you, investigation, finding out the mist behind a thing. Coming to the job opportunities, forensic science has a lot of demand and high in competition when compared to biotech. You can be hired easily by biotech when compared to forensic science. But when coming to packages, both the fields provide a good package of salaries

Well as per the details mentioned on the website of the college it is mentioned there that there is no such course available. Well, the thing is that no forensic science course is mentioned on the website and neither such department is mentioned. Can you please recheck once.

Admission to BSc Forensic Science in Dr Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya is done through entrance test UGET.

Eligibility Criteria is candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 45% aggregate for General and OBC,however there's relaxation of 5% in case of reserved categories such as SC, ST, PC.

Hi,

For doing B.sc forensic science course you have to get 55% aggregate marks in class 12 in physics, chemistry, mathematics/ biology as your main subject from equivalent board or equivalent.

Different colleges take admission on the basis of the merit scored in class 12 examination.
