Galgotia College academic session for first year will only start after the declaration of 3 round of UPSEE counselling. So not near 31 July so You Could expect you freshmen induction to start in August and class will also start at the same time. Basically I guess in the first week itself. So don't worry they will tell you the exact date at the time of admission.

Coming to your question I would like to tell you that for the cse branch you should choose first ITM Lucknow as it is a government college, after that you should go for the AK Garg college , and after that you can choose for galgotia ,GL Bajaj and kiet stands same in the list.

For computer science students, it provides excellent opportunities to get placed in top tech giants like Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Tech mahindra etc. These tech giants recruit about 100–200 students every year. These are mass recruiters of Galgotias Educational Institutions providing average package of around 3.25 LPA and technical job profile. Students from every engineering branch is eligible to sit in placement drives by these tech giants. Students from non CS branch are even inducted by these giants but yes majority of intake will be from CS branch. Majority of CS batch 2013–17 has been placed this session.

For others streams like mechanical, civil , EC, EE core companies do arrive with average package of around 2.5 LPA with job profile varying from technical to sales and marketing executive. Some mechanical companies arrived this year were VIVO ( production), Rolling mills (Gurgaon) for sales and marketing executive. These companies each recruit around 5–10 candidates.

Students from other courses like MBA also have good opportunities to get placed in renowned companies like PNB housing finance, Airtel, Spicejet, etc but I am not sure about their job profile and packages.

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you deserve both of the nice college and I would like to tell you that if you gonna compare these two colleges then ajay kumar garg is cheaper and better than galgotia although both are private engineering college. But one thing I would like to tell you that electrical engineering is core branch unlike EEE so if you are giving preference to college then it is ajay kumar garg which you should choose and if you are choosing EE over EEE then you should choose galgotia college of engineering. So choose smartly considering my views.
