i got 25.01 (obc)marks in gate chemical engineering exam which colleges will get?

sadafreen356 23rd Sep, 2024

It is not possible for you to get any college at such low score even it is quite challenging for you to get a seat in any IIT or NIT's forget about job opportunity.

I suggest you to prepare hard for next time and aim for atleast top 500 rank to get seat to chemical engineering in colleges.

ALL THE BEST!!!!

My rank in Gate Chemical engineering is 840 with score of 472 ,As a general category student which IIT can I get

Anurag Khanna 27th Mar, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

If we go through the analysis of previous year's GATE score Vs College allotment than according to the GATE 2022 score mentioned by you in the query you have very less chances of getting any of the IITs with Chemical Engineering because their cut-offs are somewhere around 550-600+ score for General category so I would recommend you to go with some NITs or some private colleges in states like Andhra Pradesh , Telangana and some others because some private colleges also accept admission on the basis of GATE score.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-cutoff

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your GATE 2022 Score and category you can use GATE College Predictor :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

my score in gate chemical engineering 2020 is 39 and gate score is 389 out of 1000 . what are my chances to get in iit or nit

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 14th Mar, 2020

hi,

see at this score you have less chances for iits or top ranked nits. mtech in chemical engineering is taught in very few nits, you may apply for north east nits, jadavpur university, bits, vit vellore etc.

you may use careers360 college predictor tool to know about your predictable colleges,
