Hello Deepanshu,
If you are really passsionate about research in Physics then I would suggest to go for Engineering Physics instead of Mechanical or Electrical. Engineering physics students are more involved in research studies. Even courses are also mostly focused on research studies. While in ME/EE you are given exposure of practical/labs which is mainly focused on industrial requirements. You can also do research in EE and ME but those subjects will deviate from physics. In case of EE you can work on communication, electromagnetics and even in power engineering which is mainly kind of application based. Engineering physics do more of atomic level studies.
For your case my suggestion would be to join Engineering Physics to pursue research as your career.
Good Luck !!!!
Hi Sabiq. It is difficult to study overseas especially in countries like Canada without IELTS. For student Visa, one needs to score 6.5 ,not less than 6 bands in any . But there is one way to study abroad, one can apply for student exchange program through one's university / college (if your university/college offers foreign exchange program) . But if your institution doesn't do that, then without IELTS.
Also, IELTS is not valid everywhere. It is valid in canada, Australia and some parts of US. There are different exams for different countries.
Hello Omkar,
In order to get admission for MBA in US or UK you have to give two types of examinations:
1) Standardized tests that are mandatory:
GRE (Graduate Record Examination).
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test).
or
2) Language Tests:
For UK:
IELTS ( International English Language Testing System).
PTE (Pearson Test of English).
For US:
TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language).
All the Best.
Dear Archana, Ideally candidates who have pursued their undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses from Australia, Canada, UK, USA and New Zealand needn't appear for FMGE. They can directly register their degrees with MCI. As your Post graduation is from UK, you needn't appear for FMGE for your Post Graduation. But in your case as you have your Undergraduate degree from South Africa, it is important that you appear for FMGE to get your Undergraduation registered and be recognised as a Medical Practioner in India.

Hello Naveen
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is conducted to evaluate a candidate's proficiency level in the English language and GRE is accepted for admission to various disciplines at many graduate and business schools across the globe. It covers three major sections- Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning.
You need to clear IELTS or GRE or both the exams will depend on the institute where you wish to take admission as the admission procedure varies from institute to institute. You will need to check the admission criteria of the college/University and the course which you want to pursue.
Good Luck!
