Siimran Pal 22nd May, 2018

USA holds more number of colleges in top list than UK,but this thing is not so big deal. The big deal is about cost of living, environment should be student friendly and education fee.Studying in UKAdmission Requirements:you need to successfully complete 1 of the below:· TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)· English preparatory program· GCSE in English (C grade or above)· IELTS (International English Language Testing System)Visa/Study PermitA student would need a full-time study program visa.CostsFor an international student, the approximate tuition fee for a year for pursuing an MBA degree is almost £15,100 for a year apart from other expenses.DurationMost of the undergraduate degrees in the U.K. are three years long, except when we talk about Scotland where it is 4 years long. The master's degree in the U.K. is normally a one year program.Studying in USAdmission Requirements:

You need to have great scores in exams like GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc as well as a minimum score requirement in TOEFL and IELTS.Visa/Study PermitOne needs to apply to a college/university, basically an education institution which has been approved by the popular US Citizenship Immigration Service.CostsThe tuition fee in the US can range anywhere between USD $10,000 and USD $55,000 for 1 year approximately, and this excludes the other expenses like, accommodation, food, books, groceries, medical insurance etc.DurationThe undergraduate courses are 4 years long while the graduate courses are 1+ years.source:Uday Pratap's answer to Which is better for a higher education: the UK or the USA?Numbers and StatisticsThe number of international students attending school in the US has risen steadily in the past five years, and now totals more than 723,000 students according to the most recentreport from the Institute for International Education. Within the US, California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York and Texas are the most popular locales for foreign students.Though the UK's higher education system is much smaller than what the US has to offer, the proportion of international students in the UK is comparatively high, accounting for 17% (as compared to ~3% in the U.S.). In 2009-10, the number of international students in the UK was 428,225; in descending order, the most chosen destinations for study were England, Scotland, Wales, then Northern Ireland.Living in the UK - the PeopleGenerally speaking, British people are friendly but prefer to keep to their own counsel. In most cases, you may have to take the initiative to start a conversation. British citizens are famous for their dry humor and sarcasm - though it may take you aback at first, you'll be cracking jokes with them in no time. There is a strong international student community in the UK, with a number of students from India, China, Japan, Latin American countries and the Middle East. The UK has a sizable South-Asian community with a number of people of Indian origin - it is no accident that 'tandoori chicken,' a typical Indian cuisine, is treated as one of the UK's most popular dishes! Other pockets of international activity flourish in London's Little Arabia, Glasgow's Little India, and Sussex's Little Italy. If you choose to venture outside of major cities, be sure to consider Manchester's booming Chinatown.Living in the US - the PeopleIn the US, no one is a stranger - even if you get into a cab, the driver will likely greet you and strike up a conversation. People are generally very casual and open-minded. The US has settlers who have come from different parts of the world, so in a way, one is never too far from home. Indians, Chinese, Italians, Hispanics and the Japanese form a major portion of the country's population. The American lifestyle exemplifies dreaming big and achieving one's dreams - in the US, you will find an extra emphasis on "big is beautiful." Whether we are talking about tall sky-scrapers that kiss the skies, massive airports that seem to be cities in-it-of themselves, huge parking lots, over-generous portions of food (biggie size, anyone?), the US has a definite penchant for living large.Free Scholarship Search DatabasesThe internet is an excellent resource for locating a large number of study abroad scholarships. Many of these scholarships will allow you to apply directly online; potentially, you can apply for dozens of scholarships in a few short hours. However, their one downfall is that a larger application pool will reduce your chances to be awarded aid, but remember, you have to be in it to win it! Some places to start:Scholarship Portal: This website provides a comprehensive free search database system for scholarships available throughout Europe; you can search by region, country and discipline.FastWeb: This website will not only help you find study abroad scholarships, but scholarships of all kinds that may help you get through the rest of college. The service is free but offers a number of extra benefits if you decide to register.Mach25 Scholarship Search: This is a simple and free scholarship search database. In a Keyword Search, try entering the name of a language you are interested in and browse through the results to find anything you qualify for.IIE Passport: This database is a comprehensive search engine for all study abroad programs registered with IIE passport.Grants.gov: The great thing about grants is they're NOT loans, so you don't have to pay them back. Use this database to find money available to cover various costs of study abroad.

The preparation for these exams usually start as early as a year before the admission process as there is a lot involved such as visas, funds planning or loans, acceptance from the college which all takes time, along with that there are several exams that can be given such as GRE, GMAT, etc. MOstly by early Feb of the preceeding year.

Raveesh Rattan Kumar 1st Jul, 2018
This should be enough to get a decent BAMS seat for general category. It would be better if you mention your preferred college and your state to know more.
