Gautam Buddha University (GBU) offers several courses at UG, PG and research level. The university has 12 streams . Some of the streams are Science, Arts, Law, Management, Engineering and various others.

The university will conduct an entrance test for taking admission in various courses offered by the Gautam Buddha University. In order to apply for these courses, the students need to have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics securing minimum 50% marks. The final selection is only done on the basis of an entrance exam ( GBU-ET ) conducted by the university.

GBU is Gautam Buddha University which is present in Delhi. So if you want to take admission in biotechnology BTech then you have to give JEE Mains examination. I think you gave this examination that's why you written 48 air or all India rank and 12 is OBC category rank , but you didn't mention this is rank or marks. If it's rank then dear you will get NITs also. So many good government colleges you will get. But if it's marks then it's quite difficult to predict which college you will get. GBU offers B.Tech CSE with specialization in Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Cyber Security, and Data Science. The course fee per year varies from course type.

The fees structure as per the official brochure 2021-22 have been stated below for the course of BTech CSE:

• B. Tech. Programmes (CSE/ECE/IT) (4-Year) fees per semester: Rs. 75000
• B. Tech. Programmes (CSE) (4-Year) Self Finance: Rs. 98000
• B. Tech. Programmes (CSE) (4-Year) with specilization IoT/ Machine Learning/ Data Science/ Cyber Security: Rs. 1,35,000.

In order to get the total course fee multiply each semester course fee by 8 as BTech is a 4 year course consisting of 8 semesters.

Both these colleges are good option.

Gautam buddha university is govt university in Greater Noida.

Fees of course are really less.

Placements are also good .Approx 80% get placed every year.

Galgotia college is pvt college in Greater Noida.

Fees of all courses are high in comparison to Gautam buddha university.

Placements are approx same.

But the main difference comes on package of offered.

Highest package offered is approx 16 lac per annum.

My personal opinion is that you can go for Gatum Buddha university.

It is always good to wait till last round during counseling process , as there will be many students who wants to get in another college. Since , your rank is 285 , you have to wait for second round. Even , there is Btech-Mtech integrated courses in the field of CS. so, you can apply for that also.
