Now there are laws that no Institution can withold the student's certificates. The Supreme Court has passed a judgement regarding this. But most students do not know this rule. You will have to talk to your college officials to help you give you back your certificates. In the beginning they will say No but you need to explain clearly and they will give your certificates but they will ask you for payment. But eventually they will give you your certificates.

A choice of general management in MBA has flavours of all the different specialisations. You will be exposed to the functions of different verticals such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR, IT and more importantly the inter-functional engagement between these verticals. Taking your career forward, in quick succession, you will require knowledge of all these fields and will help you in solving various problems attached with them. The top management of any organisation needs to handle different verticals all by themselves and hence they need to know what is happening in different domains of their company. A skilled CEO would do justice to his post if he has a balanced knowledge of all the aspects of the business. If you consider my advice, go for a specialisation course instead of a general management course. But if you think you can handle all the functions involved in a business, then surely go ahead with general management.
All the very best!!
