Hello Nikhil..
Thanks for contacting Careers360..
The two B-schools that deserve to be in contention for being the best MBA college in Mumbai are Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (better known as JBIMS) and S.P.Jain Institute of Management and Research (better known as S.P. Jain). Now let me tell you a few things about these two B-schools and some other options you might want to consider.
JBIMS: It offers the M.M.S. degree and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. JBIMS is renowned for its Finance curriculum and placements due to their strong alumni network. Currently the admissions are through CAT and CET. The process happens much later as compared to other B-schools and the college does have reservations.
S.P. Jain: It offers the P.G.D.M. diploma and is an autonomous institute. It is better known for the Marketing course but other courses are almost equaly good if not better. It has a rigorous 3 round process and accepts CAT, XAT and GMAT scores. It also has a profile based shortlist.
The other good B-schools in Mumbai in no particular order are NMIMS, Sydenham, Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (IITB), NITIE, Welingkar and SIMSR.
All the best:)
yes, you can easily pursue MBA in marketing and that can be done through an executive course or a regular one. for the regular one, you need to leave your job and join an institute and for the executive one, it depends on the institute. You need to take CAT/XAT/NMAT/SNAP/MAT/CMAT to get admission in the top b-schools of the country. And choosing a stream in MBA doesn't go sync with the work ex. You can go for MArketing, finance or HR.

Its doesnt primarily on one subject and covers all subjects equally.

All the best.
You can upload your resume on the recruitment site for the post you require as per the requirement you will receive the call for the interview.
Dear open category could mean is doing course through correspondence and not regularly and for this not showing general option you need to contact the university as there might be a technical glitch which can be solve only by the university .
