General medicine
Hello,
Yes obviously if you are not getting General Medicine, family medicine is an excellent option. In the present situation, every family has it's own doctors so the demand of family doctors are increasing everyday.
The cut off for family medicine is twice as low as that of GM.
Hence I think you will be able to bag a seat in Family medicine.

Dear Aspirant,
It is good to hear that you already got a seat under ‘A’ Category. The ‘B’ Category reservations are in this manner:
In central-government funded higher education institutions, 22.5% of available seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students (7.5% for STs, 15% for SCs). This reservation percentage has been raised to 49.5% by including an additional 27% reservation for OBCs.
There is a good chance for you to get in the ‘B’ Category, but please understand that the fees are higher than ‘A’ Category.
Good Luck
