Candidates are recommended to opt for MD in General Medicine in order to excel in the field of medicine. MD (General Medicine) is a three-year long course and admissions into the course is done under the basis of NEET PG with AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHAMS being the exceptions.
The MD course fee can vary widely depending on the type of institute, whether private or public. The variation is more pronounced in private colleges than in public colleges. The premier most medical institute in the country, AIIMS Delhi and the other AIIMS charge an annual tuition fee of only INR 702. Other reputed public colleges like CMC, Vellore charges around INR 1200 as tuition fees, while the total annual fees is estimated to be around INR 1,42,000.
