General
In CTET, you cannot choose only two domains. Language I & II and Child Development & Pedagogy are mandatory for all candidates. For Paper II (Class 6–8), you can choose either Mathematics & Science or Social Science as the optional domain. So, you must appear for the language and pedagogy sections along with one optional domain. Skipping any mandatory section is not allowed.
Hey Suman, Looking at your ranks, I feel you do have a fair chance to get a seat in Jalpaiguri Government Polytechnic under the SC quota. With a general rank of 19900 it might be tough to secure a top branch, but your SC rank 3880 improves your chances. Usually, in such government polytechnics, SC category students with ranks around this range do manage to get seats, though the exact branch you get will depend on the cutoff and availability during counselling. If you are flexible with branches, then chances are good that you can secure admission here.
Hello
Since you took admission through the General category, the fees were charged accordingly.
Now that your caste validity certificate is accepted on the CET portal, you may be eligible for fee benefits.
You need to inform your college administration and request fee revision or refund (if applicable).
The benefit will depend on state norms and whether the admission round allows category update.
Contact your college and submit a written request with proof for any applicable fee concession.
With 62 marks in CET 2025 Nursing (General category), your chances for a seat in VED College depend on the previous year cutoffs. If the cutoff was around 55–65, you may get a seat, but if it was above 70, chances are lower. Seat availability, competition, and category quota also matter. Sometimes private or management quota offers options with lower scores. It’s best to check the official counselling round cutoffs for confirmation.
Hello,
With a percentile of 98.9, yes, you have a chance to get admission to Computer Science Engineering at NIT Kurukshetra, but it is not guaranteed for a general EWS student. Final decisions depends on the many factors, like the All India Rank, the Home state quota etc.
I hope it will clear your query!!

Hello Niharika !!!
Awesome, this question is nice , I thought so much about on that and also I appreciate your work in SGRRU , Dehradun.
Few of points i have noticed where it have various exposure and opportunities.
Some of them are:—
Training in hepatobiliary disorders, GI surgeries, hernias, anorectal issues, pancreatic & spleen diseases, diabetic foot, limb gangrene, and trauma management.
Hands-on experience in neurosurgery, plastic surgery, urology, cardiothoracic surgery, anesthesia, and ICU care.
Daily case discussions, seminars, live surgical demonstrations, and participation in clinical research.
Opportunities for super-specializations, academic roles, senior hospital positions, and research careers.
General surgeons can work in hospitals or private clinics with packages ranging Rs12–40 lakh/year; academic and research roles offer competitive pay along with career growth.
Your best options are colleges like Dr. Ambedkar Global Law College and N.V.P. Law College in Visakhapatnam, All Saint's Christian Law College, and Sri Vijaynagar College of Law in Anantapur, based on previous years' cutoff trends.
Chances are good in private and semi government colleges with this rank.
Participate in Ap lawcet counselling to get college of your choice.
all the best..
Cost of education is increasing day by day you can expect b.pharma fees for general category as followed:
In government colleges the annual fees is about 25000–30000
While in private colleges the fees ranges from 100000-175000.
Moreover there is a large gap between private and government college fees so i suggest you to go for govt colleges like govt college of pharmacy.
If you dont have restricted budget go for Top b.pharma colleges .
Hope this was helpful!!
