Sorry to say you that genetic engineering is not available in Rahuri University. This college focuses mainly on Agriculture and its researches. Don't lose hope because there are several government colleges offering this course .

Yes you can it from Institute of Genetic Engineering (30, Thakurhat Road, Badu, Kolkata - 700128, West Bengal)

Minimum qualification for admission to the  program is 10+2 passed out candidates from Science stream from any recognized Central/State Board of Higher Education from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh. All 10+2

As you are from Maharashtra, the best option for you is IIT Bombay. It is one of the three IITs which offer Biotech courses. Other than this there are no class 1 option for this kind of course in Maharashtra. 

IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur also offers courses in Biotechnology.
