Genetic Engineering
Hello Shreya,
No, you cannot study Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Genetic Engineering after completion of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biotechnology because both are two different things, one is Engineering and the other is normal degree. You can study M.Sc in Genetics or M.Sc Genetic Engineering.
Top Universities offering M.Sc Genetic Engineering are listed below.
Hope this information was helpful
Best of Luck!!
Hello Kalyani,
If you are confused on what to choose among B.sc statistics, Genetic engineering and B.Pharmacy I would like to suggest you to go with Genetic engineering. If we compare the future scopes of the courses, B.pharmacy alone cannot provide you with a good career, you also need to do PG after that to get a good position in Pharmacy. B.sc statistics also has limited career options. Coming to the genetic engineering, with the increasing advancements and innovations in life sciences, Genetic engineering provides you to make a career in both public and private sector. So, According to my experience and knowledge I would suggest you to go with Genetic Engineering.
Hope this information helps you.

It is very difficult to tell that a PCM student can opt genetic engineering. It will mainly depend on the University or the College where you want to pursue. And also it is very difficult for a student to do genetic engineering without biology in their 12th.
Hope this information will help you,
Good luck!!!
Dear Aspirant,
You can go for M.Sc. Biotechnology after completing B.tech in Genetic Engineering. You can also go for a Master's in Technology. Some of the good colleges are listed below.
All the best.

Hello aspirant !
Bachelor of technology in Genetic engineering is an undergraduate course in genetics. Genetic engineering includes the genetic modification techniques used to achieve the desired characteristic in one living organism. The composition of DNA is altered by either insertion of the gene of desired characteristics that is artificially prepared or obtained from other living organisms.
The minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidate should have passed 12th with PCB or PCM or equivalent with more than 50% of the marks. Some of the entrance exams for admission are JEE Mains,UPSEE.The admission process occurs through National/State-level entrance exams or University specific entrance tests. The average course fee ranges from 1.5 lakhs to 2 lakhs.
Hope this helps you.Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.
All the best !!

Hope it helped
Thank you

You have to attempt the questions from Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude while taking the exam to get admission to Bio-Technology with Genetic Engineering.
hi,
a triple major r mean three subjects towards one degree or three different subjects towards three different majors or degree. however this is not applicable for you. since you have done b.tech in genetic engineering stream only. the eligibility criteria for m.tech in cse with specialization of artificial intelligence and machine learning is candidates must complete B.E/ B.Tech Degree in any Branch / MCA or any other equivalent degree.
however you should immediately contact with exam control authority relating the issue at below address.
