In gate exam can we write only geophysics ?is there any chance without including geology

Sharon Rose Student Expert 3rd May, 2020

Hello,

Both Geology and Geophysics are included in a single paper. It is divided into two sections

  • Geology
  • Geophysics

You cannot have a choice of leaving Geology and appear in Geophysics alone. You may personally choose not to attempt question on Geology but it is not advised to do so.
