Greetings,
Absolutely. LL.B as a degree is pretty versatile and can serve as an excellent backup option. Not to mention the fact that a lot of what you study in LL.B will be useful for you while writing government service exams.
Though, I'll also mention that DU LL.B has not much in the name of placements so the best best for you is to go into practicing if you ever decide to come back to the field of law.
Best of luck.
hi
Lovely Professional University is a private school famous for its exceptional on-campus internship programs.
Cognizant, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Bosch, Amazon and TCS are some of the major companies that regularly visit the campus for recruitment.
It's important to remember that internships in college often lead to opportunities in the private sector as well as government.
You should choose a separate path if your goal is to work for the government, especially in the technical field.
Generally, candidates for government positions have to pass competitive exams conducted by various public sector unions (PSUs).
Engineering graduates can apply for specific positions with well-known PSUs like BHEL, Indian Oil, BSNL, Bharat Petroleum, ONGC, and Powergrid, both in core and non-core industries.
In addition to PSU positions, job seekers for the government can look into openings in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force.
Regular visits to their official websites are essential for the latest information because each has its own selection processes and exams.
