Well seats are very limited. Because of which only few students get hostel and specially in case of girls as girls hostels are less in number. But in masters normally all the admitted students get hostel allotment as long as they opt for one.

There is no such thing like a stipend for clearing TANCET, as far as I know. But you can see the difference in fee structure. Fee payment in colleges through TANCET will be comparatively low when compared with National level exams.

Since the past few years, TANCET is really competitive.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is conducted by Anna University for the admission to post-graduation programmes like M.Tech, MBA, MCA and M.Arch in various colleges/institutes of Tamil Nadu. Anna University will declare  TANCET cutoff marks for MBA, MCA, M.E & M.Arch. at its official website in July, 2019 .
