The eligibility critera in order to pursue Master of Design, one need to have a Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minimum of 50% marks in some colleges. Whereas in some colleges the eligibility criteria is less strict and youd be required to have any bachelors degree minimum 3 years duration to be eligible. Hence the criteria would depend on college to college. Various colleges to pursue are NID, NIFT, IITs etc

PGIMER Chandigarh conducts PGIMER Entrance Exam for the purpose of admitting students to various Postgraduate Courses offered at the institute. The PGIMER Entrance Exam is held twice a year for admission to 20 Postgraduate Courses.

IN generic way a rank below 1k is good and a secure postion to take an admisison in the domicile state college. IF you are looking for open state admission then you hae to score as high as possible in the respective exam to get a low rank and get an admission easily. So try to get a scor mark that will make you get a rank below 1k.
