iammohdshareef 3rd Sep, 2019
Hello,
.
Ther is  no problem in getting done your education from distance.
.
It has same value as regular. On a note to noticed.
Government has passed an order of distance education because of the students who can't go to colleges regularly.
.
So,you need not be worried about it.Untill and unless you have good score you can go for it.
You will be getting a job in government as well as in private.
.
Don't be much tensed about it.If distance had no value for students for there jobs government would had rejected the order.
.
Hope you have understood my answer.
Thank you

Can private University post graduate student be allowed to seat in NET/jrf exm???

Nishu Kumari 3rd Sep, 2019

NET JRF (National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship) is one of the most popular schemes started by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Earlier conducted by the CBSE, NET JRF is now conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) on behalf of UGC twice in a year, i.e., during the months of June and December/January.

To get admitted/registered in M.Phil/PhD, a candidate needs to qualify NET JRF. And, the eligibility conditions for appearing for NET JRF exam are as follows:

  • The applicants who have obtained master’s degree or equivalent with 55% marks are eligible for NET JRF.
  • The upper age limit is 30 years for the award of JRF (NET), which is relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/PWD/female candidates and 3 years for OBC category candidates.
  • Students in the final year of master’s program or waiting for its result can also apply for the exam.
  • Ph.D. degree holders who completed their master’s degree before September 19, 1992 are given relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.

I hope your doubt is cleared. You can sit in the exam according to the eligibility criteria. So you can try to contact the officials of the board on their website.

Good luck!

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 2nd Sep, 2019
Dear Saumya, there is no upper age limit for appearing for PGIMER. For being eligible for MD courses, you should have completed your MBBS or its equivalent course recognised by MCI. It is also the same for MS course. Candidates will have to completw their mandatory 1 year internship before the session. For example, for July session, the mandatory internship should be completed by June of the same year. Candidates also should possess provisional/permanent regustration certificate from MCI.
