Is there any Stipend for Internships in Masters of Physiotherapy

Shivam Gautam 31st Aug, 2019
Hello Dear

It depends in which firm you are applying and regarding which position you have applied for based upon that only the respective company will decide whether they should give the stipend to the candidate or not. So if you are applying via any relationship then there will be the less chance's but if you applying through the portal at their vacancies then in such cases there will be the chances for getting the stipend across any of the field.

Is there any time limit to complete Masters in Physiotherapy

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 30th Aug, 2019
Dear Priyalini, ideally it depends in which country you are pursuing MPT. In India, it is a 2 years Masters programme after BPT. In India we have specialisations like:

Cardio pulmonary sciences
Neurology
Orthopaedics
Paediatrics and Women Health
Sports Physiotherapy
Community Physiotherapy

But in countries like UK, there are various 1 year MS Physiotherapy programmes. So it depends on the country you are willing to pursue your MPT from.

Can Masters In sports Physiotherapy done through Distance education be valied for Applying in Sports Academy.?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 30th Aug, 2019
Dear Priyalini, there are Institutions that might offer Sports Physiotherapy through Distance Education. But Sports is a deep subject and introducing Physiotherapy in Sports neess practical knowledge and exposure. These courses cannot be studied through Distance Education. For example, if you want to study in depth about Golfer's elbow, you can understand the theoretical part but when it comes to introducing Physiotherapy tonsuch cases, theory alone isnt sufficient. You will need to have practical exposure. This is just one example. And such courses when pursued through Distance Education may not have the same preference as pursuing the same course through regular mode.
