Hello Ranjith. You can of course get into PSUs if you have really good score in GATE. Some companies which accept ECE students are:

• NPCIL- Registrations has not yet started
• Power grid- Registration is closed
• IOCL- Registration has begun. No last date for applying has been announced yet.
• HPCL- Registration

• Mechanical Design
• Thermal Engineering
• Manufacturing and Precision Engineering

I guess, according to your rank,there are chances of getting a seat in any one of the course, rest depends on your luck.

The rank predicted can't be accurate, the predicted value may change from the actual rank, anyway your rank will be in the range one hundread  thirty to one hundread and fourty.Anyway you have good chances with IITs and PSUs.

For joining in M.Tech there is two ways,

1. GATE Score Card
2. APPGCET.

Every year in Andhra Pradesh, notification as been released named as APPGCET. For joining in mtech they are two ways one is through gate score and other is to get a rank in appgcet by writing exam.

You can get some top IITs and NITs at this rank. Getting IIT Madras is somewhat difficult but you can definitely fetch seat in IIT BHU.
