You can apply to IITs as well as NITs.With your marks you might not get IITs but still you should apply.There are very less candidates for MS and PHD programs so you can apply .You check the cut off of all the IITs and NITs here :

As far as my knowledge is concerned, people with GATE score nearly 914 in general category got call from NHAI.
In case of OBC it was 848.
And in case of SC/ST category it was 707 most probably.

It depends upon your category. If you are General category then you can get few NIT's like Jalandhar or Jamshedpur, only if the normalised score will be less than 600. But if you are in SC/ST then you can even get IIT Kanpur or Bombay (50-50).
