The score of gate is basically required to get admission in Mtech. Based on your score you may get NIT IITs for Mtech course. And some one score top 50s rank they may get chance to get psu. They provide a high income to the students. And approx top 100

It depends on the difficulty level of GATE paper for ECE.

On an easy GATE paper, a score of around 42 can fetch you an AIR of around 5k to 6k, with which you can’t do much than applying for state engineering colleges. But it won’t be useful

In 61 Marks chances are pretty tough for the top PSu's but there are also many PSU's in which you can get shorlisted but the selection will be done on the basis of how you deal with interview's too.

With this marks it will hard to get IIT's but there might be a chance you can get government college.as it depends on your AIR.

Well I can help u in this. The marks u have scored in gate exam in cse branch gives u the rank around 1700. This rank is not sufficient to get the admission in the good IITS as there the cutoff for branches is around 700- 900.

I can definitely tell you that this score won't be sufficient to get a call from PSU bcz paper was easy this year. I'm not even sure about NITs also.
