Can someone plz give some practical situations of people scoring less marks in gate and getting into psu or iit if he has a reservation.

Hi aspirant

With a low score and expecting a PSUs and IIT can be termed as dream and this dream is seen by lakhs of student of all streams/branch and every year.

The practical situation will be that a student score less than 1000 rank and gets into a IIT or a PSU.

If you are from SC/ST category then this dream can be true with low marks as well or you are applying for IITs/NITs in your home state then only it could be possible. And then you need to prepare for GD and Personal interview.

If not then prepare for next year and try to score as much as possible so that you'll get rank below 1000 in your particular stream.
