In order to apply for P.G. courses in NITIE, you need a valid GATE score.
The validity of your GATE score is for 3 years and within that period of time, you can apply for NITIE.
So yes you can apply with a previous year GATE score.

GATE is compulsory for all IIT and NIT for Mtech courses. Secondly it depends on which college you opt for as each of them will have its own set of principles and exams accepted

Woth studying from right syllabus and knowing exam pattern and solving maximum mocks you can surely clear.you must study from right set of books and analyse all mistakes committed in mocks. Revise those sections and practice more. Solve out all doubts as well.
