You can take the GATE Exam after completion of your B.Sc and below are the Qualifying Degrees that  should be completed for taking GATE Exam

1.B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Pharm.

2.B. Arch

3.B Sc. (Research)/ B.S.- Bachelor’s degree in Science (Post-Diploma/ 4 years after 10+2)

4.M. Sc./ M.A./MCA or equivalent

If GATE rank is less than 100, most probably you will get a interview call from these companies.

If GATE rank is less than 30, 99% you are selected to these companies.

If GATE rank is less than 10, 100% you are selected.

For OBS or

In order to apply for GATE Entrance Exam you should have completed your Graduation with 4 years duration. You can also check the further eligibility to apply for the exam with the given below link.

Generally, the scribble pad is sufficient enough to answer all the questions and for 2018, it had 20 pages of size(22×15cm). Even if you run out of the pad they provide you with an extra one.so don't worry much and do your best.

Your btech completion certificate is only based on your grades obtained in your 4 yr course. Gate is an entrance examination for further studies in other colleges.So your btech certificate is independent of gate exam.Approach student office in your college to ask for certificate and make sure you dont have

Let me tell you there is nothing so called "impossible".So never think of i can do this or not .Don't have a doubt on yourself.If you are a hardworker and very serious about it ,of course you can make it.

It can't be said that GATE is compulsry but i would like to tell you ,most of the students who wants to go for M.tech they need gate score to apply in any college.There are PSU's and almost every Psu want candidate's gate score .I am not saying every psu
