After the successful completion of filling the GATE examination form you will get the confirmation mail regarding the successful completion of the application form when you will do the payment. If you didn't recieved that confirmation mail that means you have done some mistake while filling it.

No you can't be able to apply for the GATE since you don't have the degree certificates. And before applying for the GATE first try to clear all your backlogs.

Yeah definitely you can able to upload it but make sure one thing the background of your respective photo should be in clearly contract otherwise it may have the chances of rejection. It will be more preferred if the background of the photo is white.

No it's not like any type of exit exam. GATE is for those candidates who wish to join PSU or wish to join IIT / NIT institutes for their PG Degree. So overall it's not any type of compulsory exam if you wish you can give the GATE
