ISRO admissions are not done through GATE. For admissions, you will have to fill and submit the application form. Shortlisted candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will have to appear for a test/interview. Hope this helps you!

Students you have qualify there graduation or completing it, in other words who are in there final year of there graduation  can apply for gate exam. 

So if you are in your last semester than you can apply for gate exam.

You didn’t mention in which year of engineering you are.

For doing MTech. from IIT's, you need to clear GATE examination. Student of final and graduated students are eligible to appear in GATE exam. Forms for GATE exam usually come in month of September.
