While applying for GATE 2019, there is no minimum pass percentage in the qualifying degree.

Eligibility Criteria of PGCET MBA-

  • For General category examinees, a minimum aggregate score of 50 percent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate.

  • For SC/ST/ Category- I category examinees, a minimum aggregate score of 45 percent in all subjects

Usually students with B.Tech or Masters in Science are eligible to appear for GATE. However students who are pursuing Bachelors in Science given that the course duration is 4 years, then they are eligible. Here I'm not sure about honours degree course duration

If possible join a good coaching. If you want to do self study use nptl and other videos. See the pattern of examination using last year papers. Solve more than 20 mock test papers of different quality and difficulty.
