Still you have more than 3 months so if you prepare properly then this much time is also enough for you as I have assumed that all your basics are clear and strong so below I am providing some preparation tips which you can go through -
1. Know the

IIT Guwahati will check the GATE applications for any discrepancies, defects in photograph or signature. If the status shows "Under Scrutiny" it is fine. Once they will check all the details, the status will be changed to "Successful Submisison".

Yes, you can change it.

You can make a request for change of examination city till November 17, 2017 with an additional fee to be paid online using GOAPS.

IISc, Bangalore is one of the institution that take second class students as well. But what you need to check is the gate score. You should have a vaild gate score to be eligible for admissions. This is very good to know that you are so serious about your Gate preparation but as per my view it is better to start your preparation in your 3rd year because first 2 years of B.Tech is the ideal time to make all your basics concept clear and strong.

I think you are mistaken because the admissions in IIMs are done only through CAT and none of them provides M.Tech program. Also, Gate exam is only for NITs, IISc, GFTIs and other universities in India.
