see you did not mention which branch you have applied in gate, however cutoff in psus is depends on the number of vacancy , seat matrix, cutoff in gate score etc.

however admission in mtech in nits also depends on seat matrix, number of participants, questions difficulty level etc. however this year cutoff for cse, ee, ece is expected to increase from previous years.

Going by the previous data, 373 is a tad less score for any seat in NIT. You may have to reappear for the exam.  Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. GATE 2020 cut off is not released yet. But by going last year's cut off , yes you can qualify as the cut off for general category of Life sciences is 36.7 .

All IITs and NITs conducts admission for MTech only through GATE, every year. Some IIITs like IIIT Hyderabad and IIIT Delhi, which conducts PG entrance exam like,

see every organization have some rules and criteria to hire candidates, since you have a decent gate score and you have done mtech from vnit you have decent chances for selection, however being a faculty you also need to have good communication skills, problem solving skills, have the ability to take class for a long hour. right now in most of the coaching institute provides crash course and classes will be almost 8-10 hours duration. I suggest you also try for private colleges for assistant professor or lecturer position  besides coaching institute.
