if you have reservation then that would be help you to open to more college as your score is low. for IIT, general category cutoff is 725 for different streams of ME where as for SC/ST , it is 300-500. for different campus different cutoff list is there. You can apply for state government college or private college who provides MTech.

The cutoff for Mechatronics for last round sponsored general category seat in coep pune was as -
2019 - gate score (384)
2018 - gate score (386)
2017 - gate score around 500
2016 - gate score 356.
If we look at the cutoff trends it seems difficult for you to get the seat in general category.

At present if we consider the past years cutoffs, your score is very good but since you haven't mentioned your gate score it is quite difficult to predict some colleges for you but i would suggest some colleges that you might consider

The cutoff depends on various factors such as the total number of students appearing for the exam and the difficulty level of the paper.
If the paper was easy, then a score of 48 has slight chances of getting into NITs. You can apply to colleges under home state quota.
If the paper was quite tough then with a score of 48 you can expect interview calls from IITs and direct admission to NITs.

see at this score it is really difficult to get admission in old iits, however you have decent chances for nits, vit vellore, jadavpur university, bits, iiest shivpur etc.
