If we consider the past year cutoff for general category students in mechanical engineering Domain, we get to know that the cutoff's are around 500+ and it is difficult to find a seat in old iits but there are new iits where you might get a seat.

see research fellows post is come for many iits, like iit kharagpur, however in some cases gate score is not mandatory, for research fellow positions iits selects candidates, based on their academic score, final year projects, whether candidate  has  all the relevant skills or not, if you do qualified

Sorry to say you but BITS Pilani doesn't accept GATE score for admission in in ME in CSE. They conduct their own entrance examination for that.the admission is totally based on the the entrance test score .

Considering you as general candidate, since you didn't mentioned your category.  For your marks, your probable gate score is 365-380.

For this score you won't be able to get into any of NITs or IITs or any of good college like DTU, JU etc..
