IIT Delhi will open its correction window for GATE 2020 applications and you can make changes to your Category. The official website states that the correction window for Category and other fields will open in due course. There has been no date mentioned though. Please watch out for their official notification at: http://gate.iitd.ac.in/index.php . Because you are forgoing a reservation Category, you may have to pay additional fees for the application. To join any IIT for doing b.tech you need to clear firstly jee mains examination then jee advance examination and need to come in the cut off of the college and the branch you require.

Gate exam is given for masters degree not bachelor's degree.

see embedded is a inter disciplinary subject and can taken by ece, ee, applied electronics, or computer science related back ground.

this year there is no official notification of vacancy details till now available. but iocl have vacancy in mining in past years. but there is no surety that this year it has also vacancy for mining. to tell the truth there is less number of recruitment comes through gate in mining engineering.
