sir how to use EWS certificate for gate exams

S. Saha Student Expert 28th Sep, 2019
The students belonging to the EWS category will have 10% of the total seats alloted to general category students reserved for them. They will benefit as they will be able to compete for both the general category seats as well as the EWS category seats where the competition will be less.
If you come from EWS category, you can stake claim on 40% unreserved seats as well as 10% seats reserved for EWS category. Your cutoff for admission to M.Tech/MS courses in IITs will be lower than general category students.

is gate mandatory .....

Payal 27th Sep, 2019

Hii aspirants

let me clear your doubt. gate is exam for those student who want to do mtech. Gate is an entrance exam for mtech admission. Also through gate exam a student can enter in psu sector .

So if you dont want to do these two things then gate exam is not necessary for you.

I hope my answer will be helpful for you Good luck

Are there any questions asked from Python or other programming languages than C in gate cse exam?

Papiya Mazumder 27th Sep, 2019

Hello,

As per your requirement, i would say that as mentioned above your query, for gate, skills or knowing multiple programming languages are needed. Only basic programming (particularly C) concepts required.
For placements, yes coding skills definitely help you. Knowledge and experience of different programming languages improves your chances. The companies may have specific requirements for some language skills thats where your experience with different languages may help. But its not necessary. You can have command on 1 or 2 only and that may be enough. What counts is how clear your concepts are.

Follow previous year papers and you will get the idea of questions and its pattern.

Good luck
