Actually vit have its own entrance examination for the mtech candidate.

You must score the minimum marks to have a seat invit abd as per your rank and score you can choose your mtech subject.

But if you have a good gate score then obviously you have the preferences

GATE stands for graduate aptitude test in engineering. It can only be given after doing engineering.  You cannot attempt it after class 12. You can attempt jee mains and advanced for engineering after class 12.

Ashok, GATE Life Sciences paper has 3 sections- General aptitude, Chemistry (Section P) and Section Q to U.

gate 2020 form filling is already over.  As Doeacc B level course is equivalent to MCA level, you are eligible for appear in GATE in relevant discipline. you may apply from cse or IT discipline.

• IIT Hyderabad
• IIT Delhi
• IIT Bhubaneswar.

And also some colleges conducts there know test for admission like BITS Pilani HD ,BIT Mesra, IPUCET Delhi,IIITM Kerala etc....
