    Firstly, GATE exam for ECE and EEE are totally different and they don't come under the same such as EE. Actually, EE is the paper code for both the students hailing from EE and EEE departments. And the ECE students will have a separate one like GATE ECE.

There are several PSUs which took their own entrances .So you can go for that.
