Hello Arun, you have a pretty decent rank with this much of rank you are eligible for most of the colleges out there, though you might not be able to land yourself in top tier government college. But surely you can try your luck on private universities. Hope this helps!!!

Gate Score of 8.44 means you haven't qualified the gate paper. You will be able to participate in COAP , which is the counselling for IIT admission and CCMT which is the counselling of NIT admission only if you qualify the gate paper.

As you Mentioned your gate marks as 407.......with you AIR will be approx. around 10000-13000.....with these marks thee are chances to get JNTU...but chances for OU ..

with these marks you can get these colleges:-

• Andhar university
• Maharashtra institute of technology,pune
• Bengal engineering and science University
• Visweswaraya university ,karnataka

Hi, It means that you can report at 7:30 am at centre. The entry process will begin at that time. 

You ca also report to the center between 7:30 to 9:00am. But the gate will closed at 9:00 sharply. No further enteries will possible at that time.
