My percentage in b.tech is 75% and it is enough to get scholarship or not . Is there best coaching center for GRE /GMAT exam in chennai ?

Debosmitha Bhattacharyya Student Expert 28th Oct, 2018

Hello Chandru,

Now, every scholarship has a specific set of requirements and you have to meet those to get a scholarship. Once you meet the requirement then they will look at the additional qualifications and credentials. Most of the US universities consider only B.Tech or any Bachelor’s degree percentage only to consider for scholarships. They look at your performance in recent degree. So we cannot say if a 75% aggregate is enough or not only the association can decide it based on every other quality you have.

GRE/ GMAT and TOEFL Scores are important for the scholarships decisions.

Following are some coaching centers:

1. Semantics GRE.GMAT.IELTS classes

2. Score Getter

3. BroadMind Study Abroad Consultant and IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, SAT Coaching Centre

In the exam of GRE , do we need to select any one subject for the analytic exam ?

Shraya Singh 4th Sep, 2018

Hello,

The GRE General test comprises 3 sections namely Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Analytical Writing.

All three sections are compulsory and therefore you cannot select any specifc subject for the analytical section as it is part of the GRE General test.

If you do want to take a subject based specialized test, then there are GRE Subject Tests available for

  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Literature in English
  • Biology
  • Psychology

The GRE General test is required for admission to most postgraduate programs abroad but some programs also require additional subject test scores for admission.

MY GRE SCORE IS 284 AND WANT TO DO MIS IN US UNIVERCITY IS THERE CHANCE TO GET ADMISSION

Rohit Roy 13th Oct, 2018
Hi Aspirant,
Normally, there is no minimum marks required to take admission through GRE.It totally depends on the university you're targeting.
Mostly, all the best universities prefer scores of 320+ with 165+ in quants.
Mostly, people aim for this. However, there are other colleges who intake students having lesser marks.
Ever college has its own cutoff,so declaring anything would be vague.Hence,I advise you to check the cutoffs of the colleges you want to target and see whether you can get through.
Hope this helps.

The fee of sats, gmatand gre is too high I can not effort give me another idea to get admissions in mit america without any nedal

Neha Jain 12th Oct, 2018

Hi there.

There is no other way of getting into MIT without those entrance examinations already mentioned in the question.

In order to get into foreign universities, writing GRE, GMAT, SAT, TOEFL etc. is compulsory. Without the scores of these, you wouldn't be even eligible to apply for those universities.

If the fee is unaffordable, you might consider taking an education loan.

These days education loans of 20-30 lakhs are easily available.

Wishing you luck!
