PGDM (Post Graduation Diploma in Management) in marketing at Great Lakes, Chennai
You must have work experience of 18 to 16 months, if you found to be exceptionally good in this field. This institute only accepts CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT or CMAT scores. It is really worthy institute for PGDM in marketing. There is international faculty, business ready manages, diversified industry interaction, rich peer learning and really strong alumni network. That is why it is worth going for it. There is no management quota in this institute. Here admissions are done on merit basis only. This institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). AICTE is a statutory body under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is a premier B school of the country and it is always tough to get into such schools as the number of applicants are very high. Good preparation is needed to be successful in the selection process.
Both of the institutes are private. NMIMS, Bangalore will be a better choice for a newbie and Great Lakes, Chennai is a better choice for the Experienced one. But the candidate must have at least work experience of two years. NMIMS is good for 2 years MBA course. The placement rate of NMIMS, Bangalore is better than that of Great Lakes, Chennai. But there is no doubt that Great Lakes provides much strong education than NMIMS, Bangalore. Otherwise both are very nice place to study and helpful for career. I wish you all the best for your future.
