Guwahati
Hello,
Admission to Under Graduate Engineering courses in IITs is based on rank secured in JEE Advanced. Last year the cut off was as follows in round 6 of JOSAA Counselling for EWS category
Note that IIT Kharagpur does not offer ECE but it offers four year Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering course and five year integrated Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering course. Cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease every year depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. The marks vs rank trend for JEE Advanced changes every year. SO it is quite difficult to indicate the score to secure a particular rank. Analysing the previous year cut off you need to secure a rank under 1000 (EWS) in JEE Advanced. To secure such rank you need to score 50% of total score. This is an estimated score the actual rank may vary. To check the previous year cut off use the link below

IIIT Bangalore is better than IIIT Allahabad. In term of placement cse of iiitb(24l) is much ahead of iiita ece(15.5l, IT is 23l). In term of research, iiita is not considered very good but iiitb is great institution. IT of IIIT Allahabad can be considered option over IIITB cse due to campus life, a year less and fees but IIITB over ece at iiita for sure. But every college has its own importance and priority
Hope this will help you
