Gauhati Commerce College offers the B.Com and BBA courses at the UG level and the M.Com, MBA and PGDCA courses at the PG level.

Candidates can apply to all the courses at Gauhati Commerce College online, through the official website of the college.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 from the commerce / arts / science streams are eligible to apply for B.Com course.

For BBA, candidates who have completed 10+2 from the commerce / arts / science streams or have a Diploma in Engineering, with 40% marks are eligible to apply.

B.Com and BBA seats will be allotted on the basis of merit in the qualifying 10+2 examination.

Candidates who are B.Com graduates are eligible to apply for M.Com course.

Candidates who are graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply for the MBA and PGDCA courses.

M.Com and PGDCA course seats will be allotted on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree examination.

MBA seats will be allotted on the basis of scores obtained in an entrance test conducted by the university, followed by performance in a group discussion and personal interview round.

First of all, you have to decide that you want to go for the institute or you want to go for the stream. If you want to study in IIT then you should go for CSE in that case your preference should be Bhubaneswar>Kottawayam>Sri city

If you want to go for stream then your preference should be ECE at NIT PATNA.

IIIT Pune is much better than IIIT Guwahati.

There are many reupdated companies where IIIT Guwahati students got placed with average package of 11.59 LPA.

There are many reupdated companies where IIIT Pune students got placed with average package of 15 LPA.

The Average package for CSE in IIIT Guwahati was 11 Lakh while in IIIT Vadodara it was  11.53 Lakh. IIIT Guwahati Ranked at 73 in NIRF 2021 Rankings while NIRF Ranking of IIIT Vadodara is not available. Since IIIT Guwahati is currently operational in IIT Guwahati campus so IIIT Guwahati currently has  IIT Guwahati as its mentor Institute. So, after combining all above facts , IIIT Guwahati seems better choice than IIIT Vadodara.
