Secondly, I would like to say that each and every year the cut-off criteria get changed depending upon the merit list. This year it is expected to secure 40 - 45 percentile for general category ,for getting the chance of admission. The previous year's cut-off marks was 146-113 .

Hi, below is the list of some schools that have low fees and have a little high cutoff and low acceptance rate.
The numbers that are listed are the school fees. Hope this helps. All the best!
Answer of your question is YES.
Tuition fee is waived for all SC or ST students.
The institute also allows the students to avail outer Govt. and non-Govt. schemes such as Govt. scholarships, scholarships from private trusts and central sector scholarship schemes etc.
Thank you

In 2019, JEE Main Cutoff for ST candidates were 335669 (for CSE) and 354515 (for ECE) . In 2020, JEE Main Cutoff Rank for B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering was 443642 for ST category candidates.

If youre a CS Enthusiast and firm on the Branch, prefer IIITs like Guwahati, Pune, Vadodara, Bhubaneshwar and many others for CSE. Incase youve no such branch interest and are concerned only about Placements, NIT Jalandhar seems a Good Option. NITJ Mechanical has some of the best Placements in Mechanical Branch after IITR and BITS Pilani in all over North India, besides having excellent faculty, infrastructure and reserch facilities.

Dear aspirant
You must be aware that aiims councelling is conducted by MCC through AIQ counseling of neet. There is no any state quota seat in aiims. Although quota for reserved category candidate is there as it was earlier. So if you want to get admission in AIIMS you will have to attend AIQ counseling upto mopup round and if seat remain vaccant then stray vaccancy round is conducted by AIIMS counselling authority.
Last year cut off ranks for AIIMS, GUWAHATI GOR SC CATEGORY WAS AIR 59261. ( marks 560-570 approx).
Although every year cut off ranks change depending on various factors like no of candidates appearing, difficulty level, seat availability. If we see last 2-3 year patterns then neet cut off marks changes every year very abruptly.
So if you want to get addmission in AIIMS gunwati 590+ marks will be safe score after seeing last 1-2 years cut off. Although it is not definite. So try to score as maximum you can to secure your spot.
You can take help of neet college predictor link. It might help you in time of counselling. Link in below

A four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent in design, engineering, architecture, interior design, or a related subject with a minimum CPI of 6.0 out of 10 or 60 marks is required.
NID's four-year Professional Diploma in Design or CEPT's five-year Professional Diploma in Design, with a minimal CPI of 6.0 out of 10 or 60% of scores.

Based on GATE performance, grades/marks in the qualifying degree examination, and other factors, the Institute retains the right to contact a restricted number of candidates for a written test and/or interview/counseling/portfolio review, if necessary.

Both Shillong and Guwahati have established centers of Educational Significance, with IIT at Guwahati and IIM in Shillong. Shillong is a far less populated area, not as well connected to the ROI in terms of Railway, Financial & Industrial Ecosystem , when compared to Assam's Capital Guwahati. Incase, youre really serious about UPSC Preparation staying in Northeast, I would rather suggest you to prefer Guwahati over Shillong, if youre from Assam or Shillong over Guwahati if youre from Meghalaya. Both are peaceful places for UPSC Preparation, however you may just have access to better Public Libraries, Coaching Institutes, Internet and Web Services as well as UPSC Study Circles if youre in Guwahati, Assam.
Hello Student,
Class 11 & 12 students who want to prepare for entrance exams can take admission in dummy schools. These are the schools that provide the regular passing certificate and marksheet without attending the class. However, students have to appear in 12th board exams. There is no dummy school In guwahati as of now.
You can consider taking admission in NPS international school which is ranked as the best school of Assam.
All the best!!
