The Himachal Pradesh university has different criteria for its different courses like if the candidate wants to go for MBBS / NDS then he / she must have appeared for NEET  whereas admission to B.Tech is given on the basis of marks obtained in Entrance test conducted by HPU and also merit basis for BBA, BCA, BHM courses the admission is granted on the merit basis for LLB based on the entrance exam conducted by the university

The HPU admission form will be available from the second week of April 2019. 

The mode of admission is through entrance test and also there is merit based admission as well. The date of entrance exam is scheduled to be during the third or fourth week ofMay 2019. The mode of application is online while the mode of councelling is offline.

Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla takes admissions to M.Sc courses at the postgraduate level through performance in the entrance test conducted by HPU. Candidates holding a bachelors degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the courses. The exam is likely to be conducted on May 21 or May 22, 2019. MSC PHYSICS application starts from second week of April 2019 till the second week of may 2019. The date of entrance will be 22 may 2019.
BELOW IS THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AS GIVEN BY HIMACHAL PRADESH UNIVERSITY:-
Students who will be completing B. Sc. with Honours/Major inPhysics during the current academic year or who have completed such courses during the previous year, with at least 45% marks in the Honours/Major Subject(taking into consideration the marks obtained in the examinations conducted sofar), from any university approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC)are eligible to apply. And also the Performance in the entrance test conducted by HPU. Candidates who belong to SC/ ST category willget a relaxation of 5% in all major programs.

• Minimum pass marks for the entrance test conducted by the college is 35% marks.
• Subject specific Entrance test for the specified courses will be conducted by the University.

There are many universities offer three years law programme but here are some of the top universities you can prefer for the programme Faculty of Law Delhi University, Faculty of Law Banaras Hindu University etc. You should be passed your graduation from the recognised university.
