the eligibility criteria for ugc net is Candidates should secure at least 55 per cent marks in master’s degree exams. A relaxation of five per cent is given to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Transgender category. Therefore, candidates from reserved categories require only 50 per cent aggregate marks in their master’s degree exams. must have complete their post-graduation from a UGC recognised college/university in relevant streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc. there is many subjects includes in ugc net syllabus which has education as a subject.

Yess!! There is a chance that you get admission in Jesus and Mary college.
According to last year cut off marks approx 90-96 % for BA history.
But if you don't get seat in first round than don't get panic. Go for more round I hope you get your desired seat.

Do not overthink or do not take much stress as you have already taken PCMB which itself has a huge bunch of syllabus. So first try to clear your 11th and 12th and then you can think for preparing.
After 12th you could take Arts stream which in turn will help in your preparation for UPSC CSE. And one more thing, it is a myth that you will have to remember the all only the dates and all. Yes, you will have to but slowly, slowly you will take up and there are also certain tricks to mug up those Historical Dates.
